Do your garden beds have cross bars or middle support?
The Round and Hexagon garden beds are rock-solid and stable, requiring no additional center support. All other garden bed styles come equipped with 2–6 sets of bracing rods, depending on the model and size, for added strength, safety, and long-term durability.
Can I adjust the size of my garden beds by adding or removing panels?
Yes. You can customize the length by adding or removing panels. As long as the height matches, the screw holes will align for easy adjustment. For beds wider than 3 feet or longer than 4 feet, we recommend adding bracing rods for extra stability. Proper installation and use of bracing rods are essential.
Do metal raised garden beds get too hot in summer or hot climates?
Anleolife garden beds perform well in summer, including in hot climates such as Florida. While the metal surface can become warm, it reflects sunlight away from the soil. Soil naturally helps regulate temperature, and the bottomless design connects to the earth to promote airflow and dissipate excess heat.
What gauge are your garden beds, and how long will they last outdoors?
Our 30-inch-tall garden beds use 20-gauge panels, while all other garden beds use 22-gauge (0.8 mm) panels. Every bed is made from corrugated galvanized steel with a premium anti-corrosion powder coating. With proper care and installation, they are designed to last for about 20 years.
Are they safe to grow food in?
Yes. Our garden beds use a finish that is safe for all gardening purposes. They comply with California Proposition 65 and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), helping ensure that the materials limit exposure to harmful chemicals and are free from hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium.
Why don’t we use edge adhesive strips?
Our product design focuses on a seamless, integrated construction rather than adhesive strips on the edges. This approach prioritizes durability and long-lasting performance while eliminating the need for additional edge adhesives.
