Yes, you can customize the length of your garden beds by adding or removing panels. As long as the height matches, the screw holes will align for easy adjustment. For customized beds wider than 3 feet or longer than 4 feet, we recommend adding bracing rods for extra stability. Proper installation and use of bracing rods are essential to ensure the bed remains stable.
In theory, it is possible to join them, but it is not recommended. Connecting long rods will reduce stability and strength.
The DIY series panels are crafted from 22-gauge (0.8mm) thick corrugated galvanized steel, featuring a premium powder coating and two layers of anti-corrosion paint. This ensures superior resistance to rust, rot, mildew, UV rays, and corrosion, meeting the highest standards for quality and safety. Additionally, the corner steel panels are extra thick, up to 1.6mm, providing enhanced durability.

We are proud to inform our customers that our metal garden beds fully comply with two important regulations: California Proposition 65 and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS). Proposition 65 ensures our products limit exposure to harmful chemicals, while RoHS guarantees they are free from hazardous substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium. Anleolife garden beds are definitely okay in summer. We have many customers in Floridawho have successfully grown plants in our metal garden beds, even during the hot summer months. While the surface of the metal can get warm, it actually reflects sunlight away from the soil, helping to maintain a balanced temperature. Additionally, soil is a natural cooling agent, which further helps regulate heat. Our garden beds without bottoms also allow the soil to connect directly with the earth, promoting airflow that helps dissipate excess heat. This design ensures a comfortable growing environment for your plants, even in warmer climates.
For DIY parts, our warranty covers the quality of the individual parts only. We are not responsible for the overall stability or performance of any garden bed assembled using DIY configurations. All components are covered by a 3-year warranty against rusting or cracking under normal garden use (non-human damage). This warranty applies only when parts are used for assembling raised garden beds for gardening purposes. Use of the parts for other, non-gardening or structural purposes will void the warranty. If you experience any quality issues within the warranty period, please contact us with photos and a description of the issue — we’ll be happy to assist with a replacement.
